Lindy, the Slack-native AI teammate that actually does the work
In one line: Lindy is an AI teammate you @mention in Slack (or iMessage and email) that connects to your tools and finishes real tasks: reports, inbox triage, meeting follow-ups, and more.
What it is
Lindy is built as a shared teammate for the whole company, not a private chat bot. You install it in Slack, @mention it in a channel, and it pulls from Gmail, Notion, HubSpot, calendars, and 1,500+ other apps (plus MCP). It can record and share meetings, run scheduled routines like a morning brief, save skills the whole team reuses, and keep editable memory files about how you work. Outbound actions such as sending email or updating a ticket wait for approval.
Who it's for
Small teams and founders who live in Slack and want one agent everyone can @mention, without building automations from scratch. Especially useful if your busywork spans inbox, CRM, meetings, and recurring reports.
Try this today
Sign up free at lindy.ai (they give $50 in free credits, no card), connect Slack, and try: "@Lindy pull the last 7 days of support tickets, cluster them by root cause, and draft a one-page summary for #eng." If it lands, turn that into a scheduled Monday routine.
The catch
Work runs on credits, and bigger jobs burn more (everyday asks roughly 2–250 credits; deep work 250–1,000; big builds 1,000–2,500). Free credits last 7 days. After that, every active user is a paid seat starting at $29.99/month for 3,000 credits pooled across the team; top-ups are $10 per 1,000. Mentions in Slack count as seats, so a chatty channel can get expensive. Enterprise adds SSO, audit logs, and HIPAA.
